The British Un20 (Juniors) and Un23 Championships take place on Sat April 28th at Lilleshall National Sports Centre in England, Gladiator WLC have 3 lifters competing in this competition and they are; Colette Will 53kg Class Un20 - Haris Ansari 69kg Un23 - Callum Downie 94kg class Un23.....Good Luck to them....

The Scottish Open, Scottish Un20 and Un23s were held on 31st March at Glasgow's newest member club, the Crossfit Glasgow Spartans in Commerce street. The competition was a great success with 50 lifters taking part, there were some things that will need sorted but nothing major, the platform got busted but then it was lifted and the competition resumed when the flooring was marked out and went on well after that.

Gladiator WLC had an impressive 13 lifters take part with most doing well and getting new bests, Crossfit Glasgow Spartans had 5 lifters (4 females) taking part in their first competition and all did well and enjoyed the experience and taking 2 Gold and 3 Silver in the process so well done to them.

The medal haul for Gladiator was just as impresive as the lifters that took part with an overall total of 6 Gold Medals and 2 Silver, Well done to everyone that took part.

Gladiator Weightlifting Lifters are winning lots of Titles...Well done to Colette Will - Tatenda (Aka Tintin) and Haris Ansari for all winning Gold medals at the recent British University and College Championships in Leeds Met Uni----------Colette lifted at 48kg class and achieved all new bests and improved her performance by 8kg and setting all new Scottish records at that bodyweight with a snatch of (53) Jerk of (67) and Total of (120)......Haris did a new best snatch of 95kg and equalled his best total.....Tintin got new bests in Snatch (65)Jerk (83) and Total (148) and also set new Scottish records

Well Done to Amanda, Titch and Martin on winning Gold Medals at the British Masters today and yesterday, PBs Galore

Gladiator WLC brought home an impressive 13 Gold Medals and 5 Silver Medals from the recent British Schools and British Development Cup held in Birmingham, Oldbury College of Sport

Gladiator Weightlifting Club hosted the Scottish Schools Championships and the 1st Round of the Scottish Development Cup (under 13s)

We had 50 young lifters in the Dev Cup and 33 of these were from the Gladiator Club and in the Schools Championships there were 12 Lifters with 1 of these a guest.

The competition ran well and was finished by 5pm - Thanks goes to the Sports Council for Glasgow for funding the event.
